What has six years of SOH meant to you?

I've been with the team for the last four years joining in November of 2004. For me it really is more than a game and players, it is a group of players that became my Friends and Family. I can be with them no matter where I am. As a military member that has moved three times after joining using the power of the Internet I never have to leave my friends behind.

Has it been almost 5 years I have been with the team? I joined in January 2004. I remember the old days of TFD and BHD. Those late nights of BHD until 2:00am. I have a lot of good memories with this team over the years. I remember talking Quaken into joining SOH from TAW where we were members. Something I will never regret, and someone I will never forget.
The best part, is if you ever need anything, someone here is always willing to help you out. This has become a second family.

I've been here since May of 2004. Seen many games and members come and go but the family never really changes as a whole. I say family instead of team because we definitely have become family. We lean on each other and pray for each other during tough times. We have those who would give of there time and clothes of their back for others. We learn from each other. We celebrate each others successes. We take the time to visit each other in real life. We sometimes argue but are quick to forgive and forget. We have survived many tragedies as a family yet we remain strong. SOH is truly a family and a great one at that. God bless our family!!!!!!!!

But not here

It's been a privilege to be a part of this family. We've been through a lot and had a bunch of fun (and a few fights).

This family is pretty dysfunctional (we even have Norwegians in it!), but I wouldn't have it any other way. Who wants normal and boring?

Thanks to all the guys who make the team work and to all the gals that make sammiches and clean up.

SOH means FAMILY!

Wow! It has brought me and my two children together in tough times. It has made exceptions for me in tough times. It is the most loyal family besides my 2 children I have ever been on.
SOH is a part of my life, a part that was critical, luckily for me they have been there.

I have had the worse things hppen to me while on SOH and they stood by me. As I move on in my life I know they are always there. These are friends I would not trade for anything. (Maybe those darn netherland guys...LOL)

Tony, all I can say is..... THANK YOU!!!! For what you do to lead this team. You impact lives only in a positive way. And you use technology that even the Lord didn't have available, but of course created it.

Sorry for the SOAP box. But I love you All! and Thank you for everything!

Well i joined on my B-day 4 years ago. Life for me has been just like every one elses here, A Roller Coaster ride. it didnt matter if we were barley moveing up to the top or screaming all the way down my ^SOH^ Family has been there for me. as noted from above post these are the Greatest People you could ever wanna know.

I would like to thank Covert and every one else for giveing me the oppurinty to be part of this Family.

I wouldn't even know where to begin honestly. The last six years have passed so quickly. It's been a wonderful six years and we look forward to many more. At the present we pause and look back for just a moment in time. We reflect on the many good times we've shared, and there are so many. I thank God that we are still here six years later and pray that we remain strong for many years to come.

I have been gaming with you all for over 4 years and was brought onto this family in 2005. I have met some members and have had long talks with others and have had lots of days/nights laughing so hard with some of you, I couldn't breath or see due to tears streaming down my face. I have come to realize as others have , that all of you are part of my family as I am part of yours. We will never forget each other and will always one way or another be in contact with one another forever.

This is the greatest family ever and i am very glad to be a part of the family i just became a full memeber this yr but i have been around for like over 4 yrs now just never old enough to be a full member untill this yr and very proud to be a part of this wounderful family

well let me start by saying this is the best thing that ever happen to me is to join ^SOH^ because you all are like my second family to me i been with ^SOH^ it seen for ever and every time i go on vacation i always rush my wife to get back home to get back on here with my family and god has bless me to be part of the ^SOH^ family and i thank him for that every one is like brother and sister to me have a bless day

To all my SOH family members thanks for a wonderful 4 years and many more.Its been alot of good times on the games. Hope to see everyone on the battlefield

To have met so many nice people SOH and their Families; non SOH through the forums all from all over the world. you could not ask for anything better then that

b4 i joining a friend told me you should try the Delta Force games

so i asked him which one was the latest one out and he said Black Hawk Down ... so i went out and got it

played the single mission games for a bit so that i was use to the game then i tried "multiplayer"

i jumped from server to server and found myself going into the "SOH ExTrEmE" server all the time and loved it.
after playing for months on end in the server i got invited to join on "Roger Wilco" with the team..... had such a blast

so later i was asked to join the team and put on my tags " i was so excited"

and did so good that i became a member on 6/21/2003

yes there has been ups and downs and like leamund said

there is no perfect family ... families always have disorder from time to time which keeps everyone together

i have enjoyed the 2 reunions that i have been to and the one non reunion with SOH members and a special thanks to that one member that helped me out on the first reunion with the flight and room

i would not give up this family for anything you all are the best
