Soldiers Of Honor
2004 TKOTH CUP
BHD
The Soldiers Of Honor are proud to present the 2004 TKOTH Cup for BHD.
This is something that we hope to make an annual event. The winning team
will receive a virtual trophy to place on their web site as well as a
custom built trophy for their own personal trophy room. Each player that
participates, from the winning team, will receive a medallion. The trophy
and medallions will be shipped to one address given by the individual
enrolling their team for distribution to their team. For this reason, it
is required that the person enrolling their team post a name and address
upon signing their team up. If you are uncomfortable with leaving your
address in a post then you may send an e-mail or ICQ message with that
information to Covert1@teamsoh.com 162764691.
Tournament Rules:
Game Type: TKOTH
Number Of Players: 8 vs 8
Time Limit: 30 min.
Time In Zone: 10 min.
Maps: First 3 Stock Maps A & B
Weapons Restriction: Only Smoke Grenades Are Restricted.
Advance: The team winning 3 out of 5 maps, with map B of the 3 map being a
tie breaker incase of a draw, advance to the next round.
Each Team will have an individual responsible for setting up matches and
reporting the outcome of each match, with screen shots to be sent to the
^SOH^ Tournament Judge. The ^SOH^ Tournament Judge will validate screen
shots from both teams then update the tournament bracket accordingly.
There will be zero tolerance for cheating or poor sportsmanship for the
duration of the tournament. Any member of any squad caught cheating or
displaying poor sportsmanship will result in the disqualification of that
squad from the tournament. A screen shot of suspected cheaters or acts of
unsportsmanlike conduct will be required to be presented to a tournament
council made up of one representative from each squad involved in the
tournament. After careful review by the tournament council, judgment will
be made as to whether or not the suspected squad will be disqualified or
allowed to continue in the tournament.
Each Team will have to provide an updated roster or link to the roster
upon signing up for the tournament. The use of mercs. In the tournament is
not permitted and will result in the suspected squads disqualification
from the tournament.
Sign up for the tournament will begin Jan 7th 2004. The final date for
sign up will be Feb. 15th 2004. Tournament brackets will be posted no
later than Feb 20th 2004. Teams will have one week to play the match after
first notification. If a team fails to respond to a notification ICQ
message from the opposing team’s tournament coordinator, after a period of
not more than of one week, then that team will be disqualified and the
other team will advance to the next round. Extensions will be given on a
case by case basis decided by the ^SOH^ Tournament Judge with the approval
of the opposing team.
The number of players is set at eight players per team. With an
understanding of work and school schedules, the minimum number of players
will be set at six. If a team fails to field the minimum of six players on
the date and time agreed on by both teams, then they must forfeit and
allow the opposing team to advance.
Each Team is responsible for having a dedicated server available for their
match. If a server is needed for a tournament match and neither team is
able to provide a dedicated server then ^SOH^ will be glad to provide a
server for that match. A request for a tournament match server to be
provided by ^SOH^ must be sent to the ^SOH^ Tournament Judge at a minimum
of 24 hrs in advance.
These rules are designed to make this a fun and clean tournament. Full
cooperation and compliance with these rules is mandatory and greatly
appreciated. Remember the number one goal here is to have fun.
Respectfully,
Team ^SOH^
